PCT Dominates In Brampton!

Another competition for the PCT COBRAS from Mississauga, Ontario. The Jamfest Canada Championships were held in Brampton, Ontario with All Star cheerleading clubs from across the GTA and Province and once again, PCT’s results were incredible!

19 COBRA teams attended including our amazing Special Needs team – Eternity and our Tiny (ages 3-5) team both of which performed in the non-compete divisions. These teams showcased clean, exceptional skills. The remaining teams from PCT’s All Star and All Star Prep divisions had an incredible showing with 14 Wins, 2 silver medals and 1 8th place finish. Of particular note was PCT’s Junior (ages 9-14), Level 1 team called Lethal who won their division, had the highest score of all Level 1 teams, earned a choreography award AND a fully paid bid to the US Finals in Virginia Beach, Virgina. But Lethal wasn’t the only team to win a GRAND CHAMPION banner – that honour was given to our senior All Star Prep team called Fierce, who were named the ASP Grand Champ; and our Junior Level 2 team called Instinct, who were named the Level 2 Grand Champions. PCT also took every full paid bid awarded at the competition.

COBRAS have been having a record breaking year when it comes to competition results with 45 Division wins and 7 Grand Championship banners with 4 events still left in the season. All Star Manager Chris Cunningham says: “The secret to PCT’s success is a focus on the life lessons that cheerleading can teach: hard work, dedication, and team work. “.

Next up for PCT is the Cheer Evolution Ontario Championships, the GLCC National Showdown in Illinois, the All Star Games in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for all the results!
